I am an Arts graduate. In short, I have no future in the real world and my degree is as useless as cheese. My first passion is within the realm of the Art world. However as much as I like to read about Picasso and Gaugin, I love to read about The Spears family daily antics and who wore what at the Oscars and more so, I love to criticize it and give my two cents. Therapists call that denial and dislodgment of reality!
This website serves many purposes: to entertain, inform, and to distract me from a very dark twist of fate which I am facing today. I was diagnosed with breast cancer June 2007, a year after graduation. I was also 24 years old, making my case extremely rare and strange. I had six months of aggressive chemotherapy treatments and within that time I lost all my hair, they removed my breast, and I lost my first real position in an Art gallery only a week after my employment. I am currently undergoing breast reconstruction and further medical treatments which should all be over and done with by early summer, 2008. Luckily, even though the breast reconstruction hurts like hell, the treatments I am on have no side effects, unlike the chemotherapy procedures. So by next year I should have new breasts, a new but not so preferable hair do, and a second chance in life. All this at the age of 25! Aside from the real life threatening effects, my friends and family worried that a girl of my past insecurities would be devastated by the physical loss I endured. My hair was long and exotic and now I’m rocking out a temporary GI Jane do. But at the end of the day I’m a 25 year old with no DUI charges or substance abuse on my record. So thank you to the Lohans and Hiltons of our life time.
The Entertainment industry and the celebrity world take me away to a world of creativity, amusement, and endless possibilities everyday. And I would like you to experience that with us here at Celebrity Fling. I want you to see that within a world of pain and cruel twists, there can be laughter.
