Buffy The Vampire Slayer

In the wake of the stunning development in the Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season 8 comic book series, concerning the SHOCKING reveal of the Big Bad known as Twilight, you may recall that I recently dug out all of my BtVS graphic novels so that I could catch up on what’s been goin’ on in the Buffyverse leading up to the Twilight storyline. Yesterday Buffy the Vampire Slayer – Season Vol 6: Retreat arrived in my mailbox and I got right down to reading the first bit of the graphic novel:OOOOH man … I am LOVING Season 8 of Buffy.

We agree with the majority on this one!!5,000 moms were polled at BabyCenter.com on their most and least favorite celebrity baby names, and Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze, Jr.'s 5-month old, Charlotte Grace, won most favorite with 49% of the vote!!A far second place favorite was Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck's Seraphina Rose Elizabeth at 12%, and Nicole Richie and Joel Madden's Sparrow James Midnight was christened the least popular.We don't think Sparrow is as bad as some other celebrity baby names, but Charlotte Grace really is a beautiful. Buffyverse album Seth Green and 16 of his closest friends ventured out to Las Vegas, NV to celebrate his 36th birthday about a month late ;) Seth turned 36 back on February 8 but saved the celebratin’ in Sin City for this weekend (I understand Seth has been too bizzy with work for the past few weeks to even take the time to celebrate his bday).

Earlier this week we learned that Buffy the Vampire Slayer/Angel alum Eliza Dushku stars in a (horrible-looking) horror film called Open Graves and today we learn that fellow BtVS/Angel alum Charisma Carpenter is starring in a horror film of her own. Charisma has completed work on a film titled Psychosis which *should* be released sometime this year:Shock Till You Drop has your exclusive first look at the one-sheet and trailer for Psychosis, writer-director Reg Traviss’ film which went into production at the beginning of the year under another title: Vivid.

Yesterday wasn’t all bad … for the most part, it was one of the funnest days I’ve enjoyed living here in LA :) As you may have noticed, I’ve been on a bit of a Charmed kick lately. Now that I’m re-watching the entire series all over again and have been fawning over my new possession of a full-size replica Charmed spirit board, I’ve been itching to visit the real life mansion that was used in all 8 seasons as the Halliwell Manor on the show.

Last week I decided that I want to re-watch the entire Charmed series (all 8 seasons) and as luck would have it, the re-runs on TNT coincided perfectly with that desire. I’m about mid-way thru season 1 and am loving the show all over again.

Back in March of 2009 we heard that Sarah Michelle Gellar’s latest movie (at the time) Possession was going to be released straight to DVD … and then … it never did. Today we learn, practically a year later, that Possession is finally gettin’ released on DVD … at long last. Who’s excited?!Way back in March of 2009 we reported that Possession, starring Sarah Michelle Gellar, would be hitting DVD and Blu-ray on May 12th of that year. Well, the release date came and went with no product hitting store shelves. Now comes the news that we can expect them on March 9th, 2010.
